How Email Tracking Works

When you send emails through ProductiveRecruit, our system automatically tracks two key engagement metrics:

1. Email Opens: We can detect when a recipient opens your email
2. Link Clicks: We track when any links within your email are clicked

This tracking gives you valuable insight into how recipients are engaging with your communications.

How Profile View Tracking Works

Profile view tracking helps you know when college coaches view your athlete profiles:

• When a profile link is clicked from a ProductiveRecruit email, we store a cookie in the recipient's browser
• This cookie identifies which college viewed your profile
• The tracking is tied to the browser, not the user account

Important Note About Self-Views

If you click on a profile link from your own sent emails (for example in Gmail) while not logged into ProductiveRecruit, the system may register this as a profile view. This happens because:

• The tracking cookie is placed on any browser that clicks the link
• The system cannot distinguish between you and a college coach if you're not logged in

If you notice profile views that may be from your own activity, please clear your browser cookies to prevent further self-tracking.
