How emailing works on ProductiveRecruit
ProductiveRecruit is first and foremost and outbound email tool. Using our platform you can email any college coach in the country and track important metrics.

How emailing works
When you send an email from ProductiveRecruit, this is what happens.
- The coach(es) are sent an email from your internal ProductiveRecruit (@prodrecruit.com) email address (example: Adam Jones would be assigned [email protected]).
- We set the reply to header on that email to your personal email address that you set as the reply-to email address on the email settings page. This is so that replies from coaches go to this email address.
- The Coach receives the email and if they open it or click on links we track that
What if a coach sends emails or replies to my @prodrecruit.com email address?
Great question! As of June 7, 2024 emails coaches send to your personal @prodrecruit.com account will be forwarded to your accounts login email address. This way, you never miss an important message from a coach if they accidentally email your internal ProductiveRecruit email address!
How it works
- We will set the name in the email to the coaches name
- The email will come from [email protected]
- The contents of the email will include the email the coach sent along with any attachments
- We will set the reply-to address to the coaches email so you can follow up with them there.
Example
- You email Coach John Doe at State University. Let's say his email is [email protected].
- Your email contains the subject line "Jane Smith | Class of 2025 Forward"
- When Coach Doe replies to this email via your @prodrecruit.com address, you will be forwarded an email that looks like this:
- Subject: Re: Jane Smith | Class of 2025 Forward
- From: John Doe <[email protected]>
- Reply-To: [email protected]
- Email Body: Whatever coach doe wrote
